My poem, Bubble Bubble Oil is Trouble, has been published by The Lincolnite just in time for the Lincolnshire County County decision to be made on the fate of Biscathorpe in regards to oil drilling and the global warming summit, Cop26.

It has also been published in print at 'poetry corner' by the Louth Leader and on the website  https://www.laamb.co.uk/2021/11/10/a-campaign-poem-by-jane-air/?fbclid=IwAR2S82HkwQfHNKdTO-NY-S_irWWgZ3PJFId7KvvW5GK2zhAtv5FKEz3ENZg

Wolds Words Festival 2016 to include a reading of 'The Yellow Bellies of Lincolnshire'

I will be reading my poem, 'The Yellow Bellies of Lincolnshire' as part of the Wolds Words festival on the 18th October at the Trinity Centre in Louth.

'The Yellow Bellies of Lincolnshire' is a poem about the dominance of the crop rapeseed in spring and early summer. It also represents a new take on the meaning of 'yellow bellies'. Nobody really knows the definitive origin to the term 'yellow bellies'.
It has been published by Forward Poetry in 2014 and this new revised version is to be published by Forward Poetry in the anthology 'The Great British Write Off' in 2016.
Plus FREE bookmarks will be available from my presentation table at the Trinity Centre on the 18th October.
